Celebrate the Holidays with tons of new beers at High Plains Tap House!

Just tapped in the last couple of days:
Great Divide - Hibernation 2013, Hibernation 2014, and the Barrel Aged Yeti
Epic - 825 State Stout NITRO
Dry Dock - Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Porter
Odell - Piña Agria a pineapple sour
Green Flash - Serrano Stout

There will be at least 6 more tapped this week, so keep an eye out for even more great new beer in the next couple of days!

High Plains Tap House is open on Christmas Eve.  Nate and Laura will be bartending, so get in and have a relaxing evening before Christmas.

High Plains is CLOSED Christmas Day!

CSU Rams play in the first every Arizona Bowl on December 29th at 5:30.  Be sure to get down and wear your CSU colors as there will be green and gold jello shots for everyone in green and gold!  (while supplies last)

The Weekend is Almost Here!

The weekend is almost here!  Make your plans to join High Plains Tap House this weekend for all of our great new beer and fun events!

New beers on tap starting Friday!
Ballast Point's Ginger Big Eye will be on tap!  This is a great IPA with fresh ginger added!
Great Divide's Claymore Scotch Ale will be on tap as well.  All Great Divide beers are just $3 a pint all Saturday and Sunday!
Odell Brewing's Hand Picked Fresh Hop Pale Ale will be the last of the Fresh Hop beers till next year at this time so get in and enjoy the freshness.

High Plains also has quite a lot of fun planned for the rest of the year.  Every Saturday and Sunday, High Plains now opens at 11am.  Get in and enjoy the early sports games and create your own masterpiece with High Plains Bloody Mary Bar!  From 11-2pm you can make a Bloody Mary your way with all the fixins!  Saturday and Sunday High Plains Tap House also breaks out the gourmet sausages without breaking the bank.  All day Saturday and Sunday you can get a Frankfurter($5), Spicy Polish($6), Bison Weiner($6) or a Tap House favorite Chicken Rosemary($6) sausage with your choice of 4 types of bread and a ton of toppings!  Get it with Fritos and a pickle and a Great Divide draft for as little as $8!  Now that is a deal!

Other fun happenings include an Ugly Sweater Party with Great Divide on December 19th, Christmas Eve with Nate and Laura, Colorado State Football in the Arizona Bowl on December 29th and of course a New Year's Eve Celebration!

High Plains Tap House is ready for December!

The Holiday Season is in full swing and High Plains Tap House is your relaxation destination amid all the craziness!

Need some relaxation time and some shopping time at the same time?  Then get in this Wednesday at 6pm for the Winter Fashion show with Littleton's own Chic Couture!  There will be racks of clothes brought in for your browsing pleasure along with jewelry, makeup and more!  Grab a glass of $3 wine and a $7.95 Meat and Cheese plate and shop till you drop!

Since it is the holiday season, High Plains is selling the Hoptitude Imperial IPA from Fort Collins Brewery for just $4 a pour while supplies last!  Get in any time during the holidays and enjoy a great IPA for a great price!

Great Divide Brewing will be in the house Saturday December 19th for 1st Annual High Plains Ugly Sweater Contest!  Wear an ugly sweater down to High Plains and win a prize.  The uglier the sweater the greater the prize!  Grand Prize winner will receive all kinds of great swag and gifts!

Don't forget our Weekend Specials!  High Plains is now open at 11am on both Saturday and Sunday.  Great Divide beers are $3 a pour and there is a Bloody Mary bar from 11am to 2pm both Saturday and Sunday.  So get in early on the weekends to mix up some magic!

Woo Hoo Holiday Party!

It is now offically the holidays and you know what that means?!
Let's Party!
Tonight come on down and let of some steam at High Plains Tap House!  We have some great Holdiay Beers to get you in festive mood!

Back by popular demand the wonderful Dry Dock Brewing Company Vanilla Porter is now on tap. Or try the Fluffy Pumpkin by Odyssey Beerwerks or if you are looking for a real adventure get in and get Hebrew Reunion 2015. This seasonal beer has cinnamon, ginger, cocoa nibs and Mexican chili spice! Superb!

If Wine sounds better, it is Wine Wednesday and all wines are $3 a glass and the famous Meat and Cheese Plate is just $7.95!

Upcoming Events at High Plains Tap House

High Plains Tap House has a wild next 8 days and beyond planned for you.

First off tomorrow, Saturday November 7th, is Chain Reaction vs. Black Sky in High Plains Brewery Battles.
For Brewery Battles, each brewery will bring one beer Above 8% ABV and one Below 8% ABV then you get to Vote for your favorites. Winners will be back on November 14th for the Finals at High Plains Tap House's Anniversary Party!
Each Vote enters you to win fabulous prizes and the grand prize of a $100 Gift Card to High Plains!
This week’s beers from Chain Reaction are the ever popular Pink Peppercorn Saison in the Below category and in the Above category it is going to be the Abominable Scotchman!
From Black Sky, it will be the Persephone Pomegranate Wheat in the Below category and in the Above category it will be the Santa Fe Malt Walk - a Laws Whiskey House Barrel Aged American Barleywine!

Speaking of Anniversary Party, High Plains 2nd Year Anniversary party is November 14th!  Mark your calendars now, as you won't want to miss this one.  Doors open at 11am!  For the Brewery Battle finals there will be two flights to vote on, the Above 8% ABV and the Below 8% ABV flights.  Each vote enters you for a chance to win Anniversary prizes and Tap House gift cards.
The first 100 people through the door on November 14th will get a free High Plains Collapsible Water Bottle as a token of our appreciation for 2 years of support!
And in the evening we will be having Live Music with Shelly Rollison!  Shelly always puts on a great show and seating will be limited!  Show starts at 7pm!

Many more fun events will be happening this winter as well!
On Saturday, November 21st, the long awaited tapping of Fluffy Pumpkin by Odyssey Brewing will be taking place and we will be pairing that with pumpkin pie!  Stay tuned for more information on this fun event.
On December 2nd it will be Ladies Night with Chic Couture bringing in clothing for your shopping needs!  There will also be makeup and jewelry on sale so you can get a head start on your shopping or just get yourself something nice.  As always on Wednesdays it will also be $3 glasses of wine!
On December 9th, High Plains will be hosting a Brushes and Brews event.  We will be painting the Starry Night Denver and the cost will be $35.  You must get signed up in advance to participate in this event.  Stop by the Tap House or call to get signed up for this event.  Seating is limited so get signed up.
On December 19th, High Plains Tap House and Great Divide are teaming up for a High Gravity tap take over and Ugly Sweater Contest!  You won't want to miss this one as there will be some very rare beers including a Barrel Aged Yeti, and a yearlong cellared Hibernation!  There will be some great prizes for this event, so be sure to get your Ugly Sweaters ready!

Brewery Battles and New Beers!

Round 2 of High Plains Tap House's Brewery Battles starts this Saturday at 6pm.
 
This week’s contestants are Platt Park Brewing and Locavore Beer Works!
These two young, local area breweries are cranking out some fantastic beers and have become regular favorites at High Plains.
 
Platt Park is bringing a Bourbon Barrel Stout at 10% ABV and a Blackberry Sour at 3.8% ABV.
Locavore is bringing "The Vig" a Bourbon Barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout over 9% ABV and "Fireside", a spiced winter ale using spices from Littleton's own Savory Spice.
 
This should be a really fun battle of big stouts and seasonal vs sour beers!
Get in and Vote for your favorite Above 8% ABV and Below 8% ABV beers and be entered to win a $100 High Plains Gift Card!

New Beers on Tap!

It's Friday and you know what that means!

New Beers on Tap at High Plains Tap House!  This week we have a fun mix of returning favorites and a few that are new to the Tap House.

825 State Stout on NITRO is back.  This Epic Brewing Company beer has always been a favorite for those looking for a nice clean easy drinking stout!
Fate Brewing Company  Laimas Kölsch is new to High Plains.  A Gold Medal GABF winner this light easy drinker is sure to please.
Anderson Valley Brewing Company has provided us with a Gose Sour called Holy Gose!  Crisp and tart, this is an easy entry point into trying out sours!
Now Cuvée des Jacobins Rouge on the other hand is a true Flemish sour that is a pucker you up and leave you wanting more type of sour.  A Tap House favorite every time it is on.
And last but certainly not least, it is Fresh Hop Season... and the King of the Fresh Hop is Great Divide Brewing Co.'s Fresh Hop!  Get in and try the crispness!  This beer is only $3 on Saturday and Sundays as part of our new Game Day Menu!

Speaking of Game Day Menus, this Saturday the Game Day Sausage Menu will only be available from 11am to 5pm when we break and start getting ready for Josh Blackburn Live in Concert Saturday Night.  Game Day is in full effect all day on Sunday!  So get in and get a great Sausage and a $3 Great Divide draft all day long!

All of this is leading up to the very first Brewery Battle on October 17th.  Epic Brewing and Fort Collins Brewery - FCB will be going head to head to win your votes for best beer!  The event starts at 6pm so be sure to get in and cast your vote!

This weekend will be a Blast at High Plains Tap House, so be sure to get in and get yourself one of these great new beers on tap!
